Background
The CIPP Policy team announced the first publication of their brand new Policy News Journal on 12 October 2011. This working document replaces the legislation tracker and encompasses all relevant News On Line items.
The Journal is fully indexed with categories in alphabetical order and importantly all items are also dated (the most recent entry being at the bottom of the category) so you can be sure of when the information was published.
We know through member feedback that News On Line is an important member benefit, so to add value to this benefit we have created the Policy News Journal so that you can look up what’s been happening on any given subject. Have you ever known you’ve read something in a news item and can’t remember which week it was published? We too have this issue so rather than searching through previous emails, you can use the Journal, and with the indexing system go straight to the topic you want to know about (CTRL + click) and follow the history of it.
The Journal will be produced on an annual basis running from 6 April to encompass a full tax year. It will be updated on a weekly basis and published within the News On Line weekly email alert at least every two weeks.
