This certificate is ideal for those wishing to understand the interaction between payroll and other internal and external bodies and deductions that can be taken from pay in addition to PAYE and NIC. For delegates with a knowledge of PAYE / NIC and statutory payments, it completes the core basic knowledge requirements of the payroll office.
This certificate if taken in conjunction with National Payroll Certificates 1 and 2, where successfully completed, will give students an Edexel / BTEC certificate.
In order to complete National Payroll Certificate 3: Essential Additions to Payroll Basics, delegates must attend a learning day, a revision day, followed by an exam. The exam can be taken in the morning or afternoon, please state your preference in the additional requirements section when booking.
Marking
Two examiners undertake marking of completed papers and results should be notified to delegates approximately one month after the course. Personalised certificates will be sent to those who have been successful and an analysis is compiled for unsuccessful candidates identifying questions and topics which caused problems.
Gain a recognised payroll qualification without the need for home study
There are three separate National Payroll Certificates available. The Institute awards a certificate for each one successfully completed. On completion of all three National Payroll Certificates an Edexcel BTEC certificate is awarded on payment of a fee.
