The CIPP Advisory Service is one of the most popular benefits of membership. It allows members access to payroll and pensions expertise, providing speedy, accurate and authoritative advice. All calls made to the service are treated in absolute confidence.

Our Advisory Service Officer, Sue Richardson, is updated regularly by the CIPP's policy and research team who are at the heart of government consultation, therefore the Advisory Service is able to provide up to date information on a whole range of payroll and pensions topics including:

Sue Richardson, MCIPPdip, Advisory Service Officer

Sue has 31 years experience in Payroll. Started her experience of payroll in an accountant’s running their clients payrolls, after that she worked for British Gas, a manufacturing company, and lastly City College Coventry. Sue joined the Institute in August 2005, as an Advisory Service Officer and is responsible for assisting members via the Advisory Service. She is a diploma graduate.

In addition to the permanent staff, the Advisory Service Team draws on experience from throughout the CIPP membership and has developed an excellent working relationship with many government departments.
