Payroll: need to know - Your guide to UK payroll legislation and reporting

Payroll: need to know - your guide to payroll legislation and reporting, is updated at the end of year tax year, and provides an indexed summary of news, and links to further information on payroll, pensions and employment legislation

The policy and research team attend numerous formal, and informal, government consultation forums to ensure the views of CIPP members, payroll practitioners and their employers are represented at the earliest stages of policy design.

The team uses their knowledge of pensions and payroll legislation to maintain and update the policy news journal, which contains relevant CIPP news items with links to further information and is indexed and categorised for easy reference.

Policy Think Tanks

The policy and research team were formally established in 1999 with a remit to provide members of the CIPP with a voice at government consultation forums influencing legislation as well as raising awareness of the role that payroll, pensions and reward play in the business arena. The team strive to serve the needs of the CIPP membership by acting as a conduit via which concerns can be heard and addressed.

The CIPP Think Tanks look to take steps to ensure that the wealth of knowledge and experience that is held by full and fellow members can be harnessed to the full.

Professional in Payroll, Pensions and Reward magazine is the CIPP members only magazine issued 10 months of the year, providing news, updates and in-depth articles on the issues relevant to your industry.
