Overall best UK association award

The accolade of Overall Best UK Association was awarded to the CIPP at the Association of Excellence Awards 2016 and acknowledges the CIPP’s growing membership which now has over 11,500 members who process and implement payroll, pensions and rewards.

In addition, the award also recognises the CIPP’s position as market leader of qualifications in its field and its continued hard work in supporting its current 944 students to achieve their qualifications goals.

What the judges said about the CIPP:

“[T]he association combined great growth and internal performance with significant external impact. A small organisation with programmes that address reputation, engagement, care of the individual and government influence. Really impressive.

The Association Excellence Awards are judged independently by an esteemed panel of over thirty CEOs from a range of trade and professional associations. At this year’s ceremony, which took place on 26 February, during lunchtime at Hilton London Bankside hotel, sixteen awards were presented to professional and trade associations that have shown true innovation and dedication in serving their members.

Lindsay added: “I would like to dedicate this award to our employees. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and hard work of all of them, who always go above and beyond the call of duty for us and our customers.”

In addition, the CIPP also picked up:

  • A mark of excellence for Best Development of an Existing Event for its 31st Payroll and Pensions Conference and Exhibition
  • Was shortlisted for Best Advancement of a Cause, in recognition of its work with credit unions
