Measures to block "revolving door" payoffs in the public sector

Wednesday’s Queen’s Speech may include a proposal targeting redundancy payments received by highly paid public sector employees who are re-engaged in similar work.

The Mail on Sunday have published a story reporting that Ministers are planning to introduce legislation to claw back the pay-offs from employees earning more than £100,000 a year who take a new job in the same part of the public sector within a year of redundancy.
