GDPR – no sooner does one clock stop ticking than another begins to chime louder

09 April 2018

Data protection law will change on 25 May 2018 and to help organisations to be ready for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) have published a range of tools to help organisations to prepare.

A data protection impact assessment (DPIA) is a process aimed at helping you to identify and to minimise the data protection risks of a project. Currently and until the 13 April the ICO is consulting to gather views and opinions on the GDPR DPIA guidance which was published in March.
