Happy International Women's Day to all of our hardworking women representing payroll and showing your support for such an incredible profession. This is your day to be proud!
In light of this special day, we would like to draw your attention to our white paper 'Is there a gender gap when taking statutory leave of absence?'. Produced by our policy and research team, this research uses findings from a survey representing responses from payroll professionals responsible for 20,827 workers in the UK, as well as looking at various court cases to establish whether there is a gender gap when it comes to taking statutory leave, and to explore the reasons why.
The CIPP has been fighting to close the gap on gender pay for years now and we will continue to raise awareness on this until action is taken.
