CIPP appoints Helen Hargreaves as associate director of policy and research

01 April 2016

Helen's recent appointment to the position strengthens the CIPP's current policy team which has seen a huge increase in business lately. She will oversee the Policy team in her new role as she continues to represent the payroll profession in consultation with government; ensuring that CIPP members get the latest developments as they happen and manage the Advisory Service.

Helen said: "It is hard to think how far we have come in such a short time, but this is all down to the dedication and hard work of all the policy team. My new role means I will be able to better serve our members and make sure their views are heard even more – thus ensuring the CIPP continues to be recognised as the leading voice in payroll."

A member of the policy team since 2011, Helen will be leaving her previous post of policy and research manager which she took up back in June 2015 and will start her new role in April.

Lindsay Melvin, CIPP CEO, added: "Helen's previous experience within HMRC and as policy and research manager makes her ideal for this role. Her thorough knowledge of payroll and the changes which impact this ever-changing sector are key to her new role. I would like to wish her the very best on the behalf of the CIPP and look forward to working with her even more."
