The John Lewis Partnership selects Workday HCM and Workday Payroll

Workday, Inc. (NASDAQ: WDAY), a leader in enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, today announced that the John Lewis Partnership, has selected Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Workday Payroll to deliver HR and payroll capabilities across its offices as well as John Lewis and Waitrose stores.

The John Lewis Partnership operates 50 John Lewis shops across the UK, 353 Waitrose shops, and business-to-business contracts in the UK and abroad. The business has annual gross sales of over £11.5 billion. It is the UK's largest example of an employee-owned business where all 85,550 staff are partners in the business.

The John Lewis Partnership was looking for a single, unified system to replace its existing HR and payroll system. With Workday, the John Lewis Partnership will move to a cloud-based system that will enable its Partners to make decisions based on real-time information wherever they may be.
