If you wish to benefit from the CIPP’s products and services and keep up to date with the current legislation, you can join/upgrade your membership at any time. We offer the following levels of membership:

The benefits of CIPP membership are:*
- Access to the CIPP Advisory Service
Access to the CIPP Advisory Service Monday to Friday to assist you with any technical questions that may arise relating to payroll or pensions
- Professional in Payroll, Pensions and Reward magazine
Issued ten months of the year and delivered to your preferred email or postal address (dependent on membership level) to provide the latest news and relevant articles from individuals in the industry
- Networking opportunities
Networking opportunities with others in your industry through our national forums, which are free to attend for CIPP members. These meetings are held at a number of venues across the UK throughout the year to provide members of the CIPP with learning and development, as well as the chance to speak with others in the industry and learn from their experiences
- Payroll factcards
Payroll factcards issued after the budget each year, these handy factcards provide the updated tax, NI and statutory payment figures that every payroll department needs
- Policy think tanks
The policy team is introducing a new area to the CIPP website, policy think tank. The policy think tank will be used to communicate details of consultations and gather feedback from CIPP members on proposed changes to legislation and processes.

This benchmarking exercise is designed to measure the four key strands of providing a payroll service, namely:
- Accuracy, timeliness and completeness - evaluation of the effectiveness of end to end HR/payroll processes
- Compliance with statutory filing/payment deadlines
- Data security/confidentiality
- Value for money
- Access to the CIPP meeting rooms
We have opened the use of meeting room C at the CIPP offices in Arne Street, Covent Garden free as part of our fellow membership package. Booking will be required for use of the meeting room, if available, and can be made through the CIPP events team at email@example.com.
Access to CIPP meeting rooms is still available to CIPP members and non-members who are not fellows, and prices start from £100 + VAT per day, contact firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss this further.
- International payroll factcards
The international factcards are now included free of charge in the fellow membership package. These factcards provide basic payroll and tax information, as well as links to relevant websites and government departments in the country.
