HMRC website's transition to GOV.UK
04 April 2014
Read the update below from HMRC’s transition blog on redirecting statutory pay content.
The aim is to make the user journey as seamless as possible. This is particularly challenging where content has been restructured, so there isn’t a direct one-to-one mapping between the source site and GOV.UK.
Some of the most popular pieces of content we’ve redirected include the employer’s guide to Statutory Sick Pay and the maternity and paternity pay calculator for employers.
Over the course of the next few months we’ll be redirecting more and more content to GOV.UK as we continue the transition of HMRC’s website. We’d be interested to hear your feedback, so please get in touch.
GOV.UK will eventually be the one main site where all guidance and tools will be housed. There is a feedback button on the site located on the bottom left of each page titled ‘Is there anything wrong with this page?’ We would encourage consumers to use this tool to assist with continual improvements to the site.
HMRC’s transition blog also has an interesting update on the introduction of their content planner which is a tool they have built to make the transition to GOV.UK easier and more efficient.
