National Payroll Week
National Payroll Week (NPW) was established in the UK by the CIPP in 1998 to celebrate the payroll profession and to give you all the recognition you deserve.
Over 20 years later, NPW continues to grow each year as you, the pay professions, show your dedication and commitment to your industry.
Through the collection of Pay As You Earn income tax and National Insurance, the payroll tax industries contributed £473.8 billion to the government in the 2024/25 tax year* – a huge achievement and a true reflection of the importance of pay professionals.
National Payroll Week 2026 is taking place 7-11 September, and we're hoping to make it our biggest year yet.
Thank you to our 2026 sponsors
