Future of Payroll Report 2022

The survey was launched in June 2022 and like the previous year, it was distributed to the UK payroll community through News Online, standalone marketing emails and through social media.

The CIPP’s Future of Payroll Report has been made possible through the collaboration of a high number of payroll professionals within the United Kingdom, and the support of Datagraphic, Experian, JGA Recruitment and Workday.

The CIPP would like to thank those who responded as this enables a greater understanding of where payroll is in the 21st Century. The CIPP is passionate about the future of payroll, and this report explores the survey results and industry developments to provide payroll professionals with some ‘food for thought’ regarding what the future may look like, as well as how they can start to think about new developments which may lead to a more strategic role within their organisation.

The report is available to download below and an article from the roundtable discussion, taking place during National Payroll Week 2022, will be included in the November issue of Professional magazine.
