Thank you to those who responded to our last Quick Poll, where we asked who is responsible for pay gap reporting?

The results show:

Outsourced

  • 44% do complete pay gap reporting as part of their package to their clients
  • 56% do not

Inhouse

  • 35% stated Payroll has overall responsibility
  • 33% stated HR has overall responsibility
  • 21% stated Payroll and HR both contribute
  • 4% stated Finance has overall responsibility
  • 4% stated Payroll, HR and Finance all contribute
  • 2% stated Payroll and Finance both contribute
  • 1% stated HR and Finance both contribute

This insight is really useful and will allow the policy team to respond accurately to the open consultation Equality (Race and Disability) Bill: mandatory ethnicity and disability pay gap reporting.
