HMRC has recently highlighted the ‘Income Record Viewer’, a way for agents to check their clients’ pay, tax, employment history and pension details.

There is also a YouTube video for agents to provide to their clients explain how to authorise requests to share this information.

This is not a new system, however if you have not heard of it prior it may be useful to know about and use to streamline data processes. Please note this is a system for individuals tax affairs and requires an agent services account to use.
