Ros Hendren, Ian Walters and Cliff Vidgeon appointed to the CIPP board of trustees

Ros Hendren MSc FCIPP, Ian Walters MSc FCIPP and Cliff Vidgeon FCIPP were all successfully appointed to the CIPP board of trustees following Thursday’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The CIPP’s 17th AGM took place at Villa Park in Birmingham at 16:00 on 10 July to consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following resolutions:

  1. To elect two Trustees to the Board and one pensions position to be co-opted*
  2. Approval of Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2013
  3. Re-election of Auditors
  4. Any other business

Ros and Ian were elected as the Trustees to the board with Cliff Vidgeon being voted in as a co-opted pensions representative.

In addition to the three board positions, the other resolutions were voted as follows:

For 91 votes,against 1 vote

Re-election of auditors

For 88 votes, against 3 votes

Ros Hendren MSc FCIPP commented on her new position: “I am delighted to be voted in as board trustee. I have been a member of the CIPP for 19 years, and a tutor for the last ten years so feel passionately about the future of the Chartered Institute and working with my fellow colleagues on the board and senior management team.”
