Annual General Meeting 2023 - new board members announced

The CIPP's 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place today in Birmingham and online at 11:00am and we are delighted to announce the following updates.

We can confirm that the following two Non-Executive Directors were elected to the Board, with effect from 1 April 2023:

Dianne Hoodless as the Payroll/Other Profession Representatives

and

Brendan Mulkern as the Pensions Representatives

Congratulations to you both and thank you to everyone for voting this year!

In addition to the above elections to Board, we are also delighted to confirm that we shall be co-opting Mr Sohail Butt to the Board, with effect from 1 July 2023. Sohail has a background in accountancy and will also sit as the board member representative on the CIPP Audit & Risk Sub-Committee.

As you know, our current Chair, Liz Lay, will also be stepping down, so will now become Past-Chair and Clare Warrington (our current Vice-Chair) will step-up to Chair as of 1 April 2023.
