New apprenticeship trailblazer standards

20 May 2015

Groups of employers including professional institutions such as the CIPP and the IAB have been leading the way in carrying out the changes to apprenticeships. These changes ensure that the qualifications are not only fit for purpose but will also ensure that the way they are delivered and assessed are world class. The new way of developing apprenticeships is called trailblazers.

The employer group for payroll and bookkeeping, led by ESOS have now completed a set of draft standards that they would like members to review. These standards are available below:

PAYROLL - Professional Payroll Administrator standard

BOOKKEEPING Professional Bookkeeper

As professionals within these sectors your feedback is really important to us and should you wish to we have complied two short surveys that you can choose to complete should you wish to add your views, one for each apprenticeship standard.

The consultation process in respect of these standards are being conducted on behalf of our members by, the International Association of Book-keepers (IAB). This consultation period will end at 5pm on Friday 25 May.
