Important information regarding Coronavirus and existing CIPP events and courses

06 March 2020

Whilst the UK risk level of Coronavirus (COVID-19) is constantly changing, the government is still within its ‘contain’ phase of its four-phase plan and has not yet moved this to ‘delay’; which means that at the moment things are ‘business as usual’ unless cases have been confirmed within your day to day environment.

There is much speculation around Coronavirus and I encourage anyone who is in any way concerned to read the following article from the NHS and BBC as well as the official guidance for employers issued by ACAS.

We continue to follow advice from Public Health England, as well as that of local and national government and will advise if any of our policies change.

The government has not yet recommended that events be cancelled and is still encouraging business, as usual, stating that there is little/no increased risk to health as a result of attending courses/events compared to going about your day to day life. Therefore, we are not cancelling any events or courses at this time and are operating business as usual until such time that the government advice changes. We shall continually assess this situation and advise if anything does change.
