CIPP Quick Poll: Coronavirus SSP Rebate Scheme

16 August 2021

The Coronavirus Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) Rebate Scheme was implemented to allow certain eligible organisations to claim back amounts paid for employees’ coronavirus-related SSP.

One of the rules of the scheme is that organisations can only claim back for a maximum of the total number of employees who were enrolled in PAYE schemes as of 28 February 2020, as laid out in The SSP (Coronavirus) (Funding of Employers’ Liabilities) Regulations 2020.

The CIPP’s Policy team wanted to explore how many businesses have reached that limit, to establish if this has had an impact on them. The latest Quick Poll will allow the team to assess this.

The Quick Poll should take less than a minute to respond to. Thank you in advance for your participation.
