The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) has been awarded a Mark of Excellence at this year’s Association Excellence Awards.

The CIPP received the accolade at the award winner’s ceremony on Friday 27 February 2015 at the QEII centre, hosted by The Right Honourable Michael Portillo.

The CIPP was awarded the mark of excellence for the 30th Annual Payroll and Pensions Conference and Awards in October 2014 at the Celtic Manor and Resort in Wales. The Institute’s event had been the most successful in its current history with record numbers in attendance and a stellar line up speakers.

Lindsey Melvin, CEO of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals added: “The CIPP’s Annual Conference and Awards has not only grown in numbers over the last 30 years but it has also grown substantially in quality and into an event that is hugely respected within the industry.

“It is an event we are extraordinarily proud of and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the staff members who were involved in 2014’s conference. This award and associated praise are very much deserved. We can’t wait to see what 2015’s annual event brings.”

The Association Excellence Awards were set up to recognise the work and achievement of associations in both the professional and trade sector. The ceremony on Friday afternoon saw over 300 individuals from a multiple of sectors come together to celebrate all the achievements.

The CIPP was also shortlisted for best overall Association at the event.
