Closing the Gender Pay Gap ? CIPD and CIPP joint survey

04 August 2015

The CIPD and CIPP have joined forces to gather views from their members on the possible impact of the Government proposals aimed at closing the Gender Pay Gap.

Closing the Gender Pay Gap is a consultation being run from 14 July to 6 September 2015 by the Government Equalities Office. It follows up on the conservative Government’s manifesto commitment that require companies in the private and voluntary sector, who employ more than 250 employees, to report, no more frequently than every 12 months, gender pay information of their employees.

This paper asks a number of questions with the aim of gathering views on the impact of key points of detail that need to be considered in advance of regulations being drawn up that will enable the implementation of section 78 of Equality Act 2010.

In addition to a joint survey that will run from 4 August and close on 23 August two think tank meetings will be held, one in Solihull, hosted by CIPP on 24 August 2015 and one in London, hosted by CIPD on 26 August. Places will be limited so please contact Samantha Mann, CIPP Senior policy & research officer at policy to reserve a space at the earliest opportunity.

Thank you in advance, this survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.
