CIPP survey - HMRC?s consultation on Direct Recovery of Debt

The government has recently issued a consultation document proposing to recover debts from the bank or building society accounts of debtors who are able to pay what they owe but have chosen not to, and have not responded to HMRC’s attempts to contact them.

In order to respond to this consultation, and to understand the possible impact that this may have on employers, the CIPP policy team has created a survey which should take around 10 minutes to complete.

We would be very grateful if you could spare the time to complete this survey which will close on 4 July 2014.
