HMRC Working Together with Tax Agents through the use of Talking Points

20 November 2015

CIPP have been working together with HMRC and the founding professional bodies of the Working Together partnership, as they develop a digital method of continuing the Working Together partnership with Tax Agents.

“As part of Working Together we are trialling some interactive online sessions called "Talking Points". These sessions are an opportunity for agents to hear from, and question, subject matter experts from HMRC about different topics.

Below are the details of our next ‘Talking Points’ session:

Date: Friday 04th December 14:00 – 14:45

Subject: Office of Tax Simplification (OTS) - Small Companies Review

This will be a chance to hear an update from the OTS on their work, with a focus on their current project on simplifying the tax system for small companies. They are keen to hear you thoughts and would like your input to help develop recommendations for Ministers on how to simplify the system, increase certainty and reduce administrative burdens.

If you would like to register for this meeting please click here.

These interactive sessions will be run via the ‘CITRIX’ platform. Some of you will already be familiar with how to ask a question but, for any newcomers, the organiser will run through how to do this on the day.

There will be a chance to ask questions during the session, but if you have any questions for our subject matter expert prior to the meeting please send them to [email protected].”
