With a number of consultations coming out of tax administration and maintenance day, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has released an interactive tracker for you to search and keep tabs on them.
The tracker allows user to search for open, closed or concluded consultations in these groups:
- business tax
- personal tax
- environmental taxes
- indirect tax — excise, VAT, stamp taxes
- tax administration and compliance
- other.
This will then return links to all the relevant consultations, summaries, dates published, closure dates and the email address responses can be sent to.
This replaces a spreadsheet previously used to keep track of the consultations and should make your searches quicker and easier.
The CIPP policy team will be responding to a number of the currently open consultations, so keep an eye out for them to be published on the CIPP website.
