P9X for 2022-23 tax year released

The latest version of the P9X for the 2022-23 tax year is available on gov.uk.
The P9X guidance explains which tax codes employers must changes and how to change them when the new tax year begins on 6 April 2022. It also details which tax codes should be carried forward.
The document is available in both English and Welsh.
In the March budget of 2021 the chancellor, Rishi Sunak, confirmed that the personal tax allowance would be frozen until April 2026 at £12,570. As expected, the emergency code for all employees remains 1257L.
