Payroll giving statements

HMRC have confirmed that there is a (maybe little known) obligation on employers to provide statements to leavers confirming payroll giving deductions in the year of leaving.

HMRC have acknowledged that the guidance about this obligation, introduced by a 1986 Regulation, needs to be improved and this is now in preparation.
