In our last Quick Poll we asked: “Do you / your clients offer a payroll savings scheme to employees?” and the results are in.
Usually, we provide the results in percentage figures, but This time it makes more sense to provide the data in absolute terms. The results were as follows:

Only 32 in house payroll teams operate a saving scheme, with only 10 offering an opt out scheme, and nine outsourced providers having clients that offer the schemes, only two of which are opt out schemes.
While these figures are low, it is not surprising as such schemes are not particularly widespread, however, they should be a consideration for employers looking to improve their workplace offerings and support financial wellbeing.
