Last Quick Poll we asked: Will you be starting to claim the Employment Allowance from April 2025?

While around about 35% of respondents will not be eligible, almost 65% of respondents will be able to claim the increased employment allowance from April 2025. This almost triples the number of eligible companies.
It must be noted that while many companies will welcome this allowance, it does come with some significant increases in National Insurance contributions across the workforce with the Secondary Threshold decreasing and the rate of employers National Insurance contributions increasing.
