Last quick poll we asked, “Do you have involvement with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)?” We also asked payroll service providers to tell us how many schemes they administered to get a better understanding of how this can impact that sector.
65% of respondents do not have an involvement with CIS, which is expected. 10% responded that they are involved in processing CIS, and a further 25% responded yes and provided data on how many schemes they administer as a service provider.
The average number of schemes was 18, but with a median of 10. Some respondents only handle one client with CIS requirements, while one respondent indicated an estimate of 150 CIS schemes under their wing.
