With the start of the new tax year behind us, payroll professionals are now implementing the new Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) rules that came into force from 6 April.

Even though it was a major change with complex rules, it was great to see that over 86% of the 469 responses received had all or most of their systems updated ready for this transformation of the SSP rules.
