Statutory Maternity Pay Process - survey

Thank you if you have already spared some time to help HMRC who are seeking your views on the SMP process. If not, then this is the last chance to submit your views in a short survey.

HMRC is looking to improve the Statutory Payment process and is seeking the views of CIPP members. Focusing initially on Statutory Maternity Pay and how employers administer this, HMRC want to gain an insight into the areas that are proving problematic or where the process is trouble free.

HMRC has provided a short series of questions which the CIPP’s policy team has used to create a short survey. The survey should take no longer than five minutes to complete and will close on 14 September. Your responses will help to improve the employer experience of dealing with Statutory Maternity Pay and so we would be grateful if you could take the time to complete this survey and give HMRC the information it needs to improve the Statutory Payment process.
