Today (26 March 2025), Rachel Reeves will deliver the Spring Forecast. The Labour government have been clear that this is not a budget and so we don’t expect any major policy changes to come from today’s announcement.
As we are on the edge of the new tax year, any such changes would be difficult, or impossible, to implement in time. However, there is a chance that some payroll or tax related new could come out of the speech which we need to keep an eye on for the future.
The speech will take place after Prime Ministers Questions and is therefore too late to include in your members newsletter, keep an eye on our news pages to see the latest from the forecast.
