Using software to send Income Tax updates - service availability

Due to scheduled maintenance, you will be unable to access the online service from 11:59pm on Saturday 15 February 2020 to 3am on Sunday 16 February 2020.

HMRC also confirmed that that some customers are reporting experiencing technical issues when accessing the Maxing Tax Digital Service, but that there is work being done to resolve this as soon as possible, and an update will be provided once the service is fully available again.

Customers are advised that, until it is fixed, they should not attempt to resubmit their return if they’ve tried and received an error message.
