Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has released the latest Agent Update. Here is a brief run down of the items highlighted in the update that you may find helpful.

•    Guidance on reporting coronavirus support scheme grants on tax returns, such as Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS)
•    Late claims and reviews of SIESS applications, late claims can only be made in exceptional circumstances
•    A reminder of reverse charges for construction and building services
•    The reporting of tax avoidance schemes
•    Health and Social Care Levy and the importance of keeping workers and employers aware of the changes
•    Veterans National Insurance reminder of processes
•    The Pensions Regulator (TPR) webinar details (Keep an eye out, the CIPP will also be sharing this information)
•    Raising standards in the tax advice market consultation information
