One of the key benefits of CIPP membership, is being able to feed into government Calls for Evidence and Consultations. The policy team enable open conversation via Think Tanks, which shapes the team’s response when responding to these government information gathering exercises.
Back in February the team held a Think Tank with our full, fellow and Chartered members to obtain their views of how AI is currently being used, and could be used in the future, throughout the payroll industry. The team responded on behalf of our members, and you can read our Call for Evidence response here.
The Think Tank highlighted the need for an industry steer and positioning on how payroll professionals are and can utilise AI. We hope that our Call for Evidence response enables you to have a temperature check on people's thoughts of current and future practise.
