HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) releases Guidelines for Compliance (GfC) for processes and areas where mistakes can be made more commonly. The latest, GfC12, dives into the labour supply chain and how to avoid tax defaulters and evaders.
The guidance covers serval areas of weakness in many businesses labour supply chains to reduce the likelihood of tax loss. This obviously impacts the tax collected by HMRC, but it is important that you don’t end up on the hook for tax that is not yours to pay.
The guidance also includes a survey link to feedback if you have any comments, questions or concerns about the GfC.
