HMRC Tax Agent Toolkits

In the July Agent Update, HMRC is promoting it's Tax Agent Toolkits. 

The toolkits have been created to ensure compliance is met. They address the most common errors HMRC has seen from previous years, and include checklists of the key issues to consider. 

Here is the breakdown of toolkits by category:

• Capital Gains Tax toolkits
• Toolkits for companies
• Employer toolkits
• Toolkits for individuals
• Property rental toolkit
• Trusts and estates toolkits
• VAT toolkits

Not every toolkit will be helpful to payroll professionals, but it's worth a look to see if they point you in the right direction to HMRC technical guidance and manuals, which are useful.
