The Low Pay Commission (LPC) is wanting to hear from you about the future of the National Minimum Wage (NMW) as indicated in a recent blog post. Part of their remit to provide recommendations to government involves collecting data and evidence on how it impacts UK individuals and businesses.
They want to understand and hear about your experience with:
- The economy and labour market in your area
- The outlook for pay and employment in your business
- How employers and workers are affected by the rising minimum wage
- Your views on the future of the minimum wage.
To do so, they will be in the following locations on the indicated dates.
- Dundee on 19-20 March
- London on 15-16 April
- Swansea on 14-15 May
- Exeter on 11-12 June
- Newry on 2-3 July
- Newcastle on 6-7 August
