HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has released a new tool which will allow users to find software for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax.
The tool will try and find that product for your needs, but it is important to note that this is the first iteration of the tool and HMRC are still open to feedback on this tool. “Check with the software provider that their product meets your specific needs. If you currently use software not listed or have an income source not yet supported, speak to your preferred software provider about their plans. More software options will become available over time.
If you have an agent (like an accountant or bookkeeper), talk to them about your choice of software to make sure they can support you.”
