The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) has published a call for evidence. Making Work Pay: call for evidence on unpaid internships.
This call for evidence is part of the government's pledge to ban unpaid internships that are not linked to education or training courses. It focuses on any work that is considered voluntary, a trial, any period of unpaid work or work paid below the National Minimum Wage (NMW).
