With April fast approaching, and the Health and Social Care Levy on everyone’s mind, the Policy Team would like to know what you intend to do regarding the payslip messaging recommended by HMRC.

There have been some differing opinions as to whether the messaging is the right things to do, if it has been worded correctly and if it’s appropriate for the employer to be involved in the process. 

The CIPP advocates for clear, well-structured and positive communication between employees and employers. This is a perfect example of where the payroll profession can have a positive impact on employees when communication is handled effectively.
