Quick Poll results: Do you think we'll see more consistency and less change following the Autumn Statement?

The results are in. To be honest, the policy team didn’t know what to expect with this one. Following the Autumn Statement, what is the feeling around payroll processes and their consistency? Will we see changes continue to happen at the light speed pace of the past year, or will things begin to calm, and payroll changes happen at a slower pace?

As you can see, there is still a large feeling of uncertainty with payroll professionals. The recent governmental turbulence and growth plan has left a lasting sense of doubt, despite the relatively calm and measured Autumn Statement.

Even looking at the responses from those that didn’t say they were unsure, there is a split between those who see more and those who see less change on the horizon.

We can only hold tight and wait to see what the future brings us, but it may take some time before payroll professionals can relax again.
