Quick Poll results: Are you seeing an increase in employees pausing contributions to workplace pensions?

There were reports in the media that due to the cost-of-living crisis, people were pausing their pension contributions. We ran a quick poll to see if this was the case.

Our last quick poll asked the question “Are you seeing an increase in employees pausing contributions to workplace pensions?”.

Here are the results:

It is promising to see that 64% report no significant change to the number of people pausing contributions to workplace pensions.

However, 25% of respondents did report an increase of people pausing contributions, specifically due to the cost-of-living crisis, with a further 11% seeing an increase, but with no specific reason.
