12 November 2024
Join the CIPP policy team and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) Joint Work and Health Directorate for a session exploring the recent SSP consultation.
We will be looking at the rate at which SSP should be paid to those who earn under the current SSP amount. The consultation asks, “what percentage of their average weekly earnings should they receive through the Statutory Sick Pay system?”
We are looking for full, fellow and Chartered members who can input some qualitative experience on the matter and assist the directorate in understanding the impacts of the proposed changes.
We will be running two sessions, on in the morning and one in the afternoon of 18 November 2024, each lasting one hour, please select only one. You can book them now on the events calendar.
As a participative session they will not be recorded and attendees are encouraged to contribute to the conversation.
If you are unable to attend on this date, please do contribute via the current quick poll on the news pages or by emailing any feedback to [email protected].
