Why do we need to know?

The Policy team are currently responding to a consultation where draft legislation means payroll services providers will fall under the remit of “tax advisers”. This will result in businesses needing to register and meet minimum standards, such as having no outstanding tax liabilities and hold anti-money laundering supervision. Directors would also be checked by HMRC at the point of registration, but some minimum standards will need to be met by the organisation only.

We want to be able to accurately determine how many of our members work in an outsourced environment.

The policy team really appreciate you taking the time to provide this extra level of detail, so we can continue to represent you to the best of our ability.
