Foundation Degree in Payroll Management (FdA)
Programme closure - Foundation Degree in Payroll Management (FdA)
The Foundation Degree in Payroll Management programme, awarded by the University of Worcester, is being discontinued.
IPP Education Ltd (IPPE) are now operating a teachout plan to allow current students to achieve their final qualification, all the way through to year three and their graduation ceremony.
CIPP/ IPPE, Heart of Worcestershire College and the University of Worcester are working collaboratively to ensure students enrolled on the FdA continue to be supported and given every opportunity to complete the qualification.
In light of this programme closing, we have two new qualifications to aide your career progression. Our level 4 technical qualification, the Payroll Specialist Certificate and our level 4/5 management qualification with a payroll context, the FdSc Payroll Management (UK Payroll), delivered and awarded by the University of Lincoln. Both qualifications are now open for Winter enrolment.

Delivery
The Foundation Degree in Payroll Management is delivered through blended learning. Each module consists of one module workshop, a tutorial, and self-driven home study through the Heart of Worcestershire College student website.
Due to low enrolment numbers, all module workshops and tutorials for the remainder of this teach out will be delivered live online via MS Teams. This approach allows for larger, location-independent groups, enhancing the learner experience and supporting collaborative learning.
We would recommend an average study time of 8-10 hours per week in addition to the attendance days.
How much does it cost?
£3,495 + VAT per year course fee.
£145.00 per year associate student membership subscription, saving you £80*.

If you are already a valued member of the institute at associate level or above, only the course fee is payable.

- Repayments only commence following completion of the qualification
- No effect on your credit history
Students applying for a student loan must do so through the student loan company. Further information on student loans can also be viewed here. When applying for a student loan for the Foundation Degree in Payroll Management, you will be asked for the name of the institute.
