CIPP and training providers

The CIPP currently work with the below training providers to provide  some of the technical knowledge elements of the level 3 standard. Whilst CIPP provide the material to the below training providers, we do not teach or train apprentices on this programme. The material provided, along with materials written by each provider, enables their experienced teams to deliver the apprenticeship standard prior to the apprentice reaching gateway.

Both the Payroll administrator and Assistant Payroll Manager apprenticeship standards are assessed via an end point assessment organisation (EPAO).

Details of those EPAOs for both the Level 3 and Level 5 standard can be found on the register of end-point assessment organisations (EPAO) page.

MSc in Strategic Leadership

The CIPP are working with Loughborough University to deliver the MSc in Strategic Leadership.

This qualification is a three year programme and the first two years can be funded by the apprenticeship levy. Students choosing to exit the course after the first two years are awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership. Students who complete and fund the final year through themselves or via their employer are awarded the MSc in Strategic Leadership.

Apprenticeship Levy

The apprenticeship levy was introduced in 2017 as a scheme for funding apprenticeships. Employers pay this levy to help cover the costs of apprenticeship training, and improve both the quality and quantity of apprenticeships.

To find out more about the Apprenticeship levy, how to access funds and how it can be used, see our Apprenticeship Levy Guide.
