How to add the CIPP website to your device homescreen
Get quick access to the CIPP website, or specific areas of the website, by adding a shortcut to your device home screen.
One you have added the shortcut, it will look just like an app and can be used for quick access to the CIPP homepage or a particular section your visit frequently (e.g. training or you My CIPP account)
Adding the icon is slightly different on iOS and Android but the principle steps are the same:
- Visit the CIPP homepage on your device, or navigate to the page or section you want to shortcut
- Click the 'share' or 'menu' button on your device
- Choose the 'Add to homescreen' option
- Name your shortcut and save

Open the web browser on your device and visit www.cipp.org.uk to go to the CIPP homepage.
Note: You can add a shortcut for the CIPP website homepage, or for any individual page or section on the site that you want to be able to access quickly (e.g. news, training, events).
Once you're on the page you need, click the 'share' icon on iOS or 'menu' icon on Android.
On iOS:
Scroll across the share options on the bottom row and select 'Add to Home Screen'.
Change the default label text to something shorter like 'CIPP' or CIPP training' and click 'Add'.
The website shortcut will now appear on your device home screen, giving you easy access in the future.
On Android:
Select 'Add to Home Screen' from the list of available options
Change the default label text to something shorter like 'CIPP' or 'CIPP events' and click 'Add'.
The website shortcut will now appear on your device home screen.
